African Masks

The children learnt about different African Masks and traditional designs. They papier mached their balloons that were cut in half (good to save other half for another project). They then designed their masks on paper. We used Resene paints which dry quickly and are hardy. All the beads and extras were glued on with a glue gun and then the masks were attached to their stands.

  2. Wonderful has given me ideas for making masks here in Tasmania! Large balloons form the base, then lots of colour and bits and pieces.
